Steam guard problem.

I got a problem with steam guard. My steam guard is not enabled and i want to enable it but i dont have the manage steam guard account security button why?

 

That means you haven't verify your Steam account. You must go back to your email and look for the email Steam sent.

 

I did verify it because its not showing me email not veryfied or something like that. And i dont have the veryficate email button too. it just showing me steam guard not enabled

Did you give Steam the secret question? If the problem isn't solved after you give them I recommend you to contact Steam @ https://support.steampowered.com/newticket.php or read the text Steam prepared.

I changed my password and secret question when i retrieved my hijacked account. Is steam guard that important? because i will be carefull after the thing that happened to me

 

If you do not buy items via the Steam store, Steam Guard is not necessary. If you do it is recommended. But since you posted on this forum, I assume you bought Garry's Mod. And once again I recommend you to email Steam Support at support@steampowered.com or Submit a ticket @ https://support.steampowered.com/newticket.php

 

Steam can't help you. They won't even try.

 

I didnt buy gmod a friend gifted me gmod

 

They are going to help you but you need to wait alot. I waited 6 or 7 days for them to reply to my ticket and retrieve my steam account back
