Can someone tell me whats going on? One day I just find another Serious TTT vanilla server on the server list in Gmod. Who is behind this duplicate and why? You can get fooled that this is the real server for a minute. Until you realize there is no !hop, no pointshop, no ranks, lack of staff, and lack of players. Why is this fraud server here? Server name and server MOTD is similar. The Server name even says its not official, but why is it using the "Serious TTT" name?
So It is a new server? Then why wasn't the new maps tested on the actual server? Also an admin is needed on the server, it is rdm central right now.
It's Highwon testing stuff out. It's a better server, it doesn't lag at the beginning of harpoon wars now
Its not another server, the current vanilla server will most likely be replaced with this one because of its better performance.
To answer everyone's questions, This server was a public test server to test the capabilities of a private server that's faster than the ones we currently use, and ran with linux, not windows. The reason we didn't test new vanilla maps on the regular servers is because people would randomly be kicked from a lot of them; we tested the same maps on a server ran with linux, and there seem to be better results. From here, we're just going to work on the server and see where it can take us. We're not officially adding or replacing any servers, just testing things.
