I'm just wondering if having 5 levels of the crowbar speed upgrade enabled is worth it like does it do anything to help while alive besides drawing wall art with it? or any perks to having a good level of it
It only increases the speed of your crowbar swings. The damage output is still the same. The more levels you buy for the crowbar, then the faster your swings will get.
It increases swing speed while lowering damage per hit, keeping it proportional so that the damage per second stays the same.
And what Guilty means by the damage output being the same is that if you have no upgrades one swing deals 20 damage and after each upgrade, your swing rate is increased, but the damage/swing ratio changes with it. So it could go from 1:20 to 4:5.
Worse than that, the hit recognition on the crowbar seems to go to hell when you have the speed upgrade enabled, so if you're intending to use it in melee, don't use the upgrade.
