Karma Ban Evading

I've seen mods do it i've seen people do it but the question is is it allowed to karma ban evade?
(I will not be sharing details on how to do it)

I think he means ban evading when you've been banned for karma

 

Do you mean when a staff member or player gets karma banned, another staff member unbans them from that server thus eliminating the 1 hour karma ban so they can get back on the server?

 

I think he means going on the same server with an alternate account while your main account is karma banned. To my knowledge, that CAN be considered Ban Evading, but most karma bans are only one hour and you do have access to the other 4 servers if you do get karma banned. Some karma bans were also obtained due to killing for legitimate reasons so personally, I wouldn't call that ban evading. Though using an alternate account to enter a server the main account has been banned in is HIGHLY discouraged and no player should be doing it.

Ban evading punishments are usually given if a player got banned for a serious offense (RDM & Leave, Mass RDM, Ghosting, Hacking, etc.) and entered the same server with an alternate account. Then the staff catches them doing it and then their punishment becomes a lot worse as a result of ban evading.

As for our current staff doing it.... I highly doubt it considering since they could have been unbanned from the server if they really did receive a karma ban.
