To go off of what @Lit Pumpkin said with the real life thing, RDM reports are instances of you vs the server; like brown vs Georgia . The RDM'd individual is simply a witness to provide a testimony. You broke the server rules, and the staff member is the judge. Plead your case. Mods will follow the guidelines set for them and above will do the same unless they deem otherwise at their discretion.

RDM = Random Death Match (although You do not have to kill the other player for it to be consider RDM)

Let's address the points you make one at a time.

-For the crowbar instance, accidental RDM = RDM. In that kind of scenario, why would you be swinging your crowbar anyways? How do we know you're not trying to kill players? Damaging players for no reason whatsoever has been deemed to be RDM because of that. You're also ruining someone else's round for that kind of scenario.

-For the Discombobulator, why would you throwing that for no reason? The reason it's traitorous is because they can still penetrate through certain areas and cause some people to fly (or props to fly towards players). You claim no traitor is going to prop damage anyone with a discombobulator, but how would you know that? Every traitor uses a different strategy to win the game. They don't stick to the same tactics every time they're a traitor. They're going to try new things to get the kills they want.

    - Crowbar fights are alright as long as it's a traitor who initiates it first. Why would you want to do crowbar fights anyways? I understand that players want to have fun, but your crowbar fights can also cause a Mass RDM fest (with players firing at the traitorous players and then causing more rounds to be ruined due to more players getting killed in the process).

-Discombobulators not being traitorous unless they damage players would be a terrible idea. You know how many trolls would use that to troll other players? So many loophole trolls would also try and implement that as well. Overall, this is just something that we don't need at all. The reason the current rule was implemented was to prevent these kinds of scenarios from popping up in the first place.

-While I personally would like to see one of the STTT servers replaced, I would not want it replaced with this kind of server. As @Pumpkin Spice Taco has stated, this would screw up how the trial mods are taught because there are different rule policies on that server compared to the other 5 servers. You'll also get more players ruining rounds by causing those kinds of problems.

-A 6th server is pointless at this point at the moment. I personally think that unless Serious TTT plans to expand to a different country, we don't need another server in general. End of story.

Overall, I find this suggestion to be very very pointless. And while I personally welcome some changes here and there, this would completely ruin what made Serious TTT so great in the first place.

As always replies are unnecessarly serious, judgemental and all like" You shouldn't rdm that just musn't happen, rules are rules etc etc."
First stop answering like OP did a lot of rdm and pleading for forgiveness and change or just plainly bashing the servers because of their rule structure. He especially pointed out that he's fine with the rules yet I'm seeing answers like "if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen!" "End of story" "these rules are what made Serious TTT successful all these times" etc. I'm just saying this because he already said he acknowledged those facts in the first post no need to poke him in the eye with those again and again. He just thought it could have been a nice thing to have a server which contains less strict rules and more like some not so caring servers around with the serious ttt community in it. I'm just kinda summarizing ( I'm still thinking this thread's solutions are impractical and not interesting enough to to do something about. It's way too much work for something that isn't necessary or problematic) Also I'm pretty sure Lit Pumpkin is being sarcastical or just trolling otherwise that answer is just a waste of space

No, it's like tapping your friend in real life on the shoulder. He'll be inconvenienced for two or three minutes. You can't compare shooting someone on a game to shooting someone in real life?
Also, here's an example of responsibility.

Player1 "Player2, why did you randomly shoot me?"
Player2 "Sorry man, that was completely my fault. I clicked back to gmod ( This actually happens. ) and you were right near me. Really sorry!"
    Player1 "Oh, that's alright. I won't report you for that :p."

Player2 is being responsible for his actions. He might be slain for that. All I'm saying is that it's an accident and as long as he doesn't keep doing it. . . No one is going to be like "dude you've shot me everyone round, but I forgive you." People will catch on easily if he's purposely loophole trolling.

Mango addressed this, and I think I already responded. Let's say I'm crowbar drawing. Someone walks purposely in front of me, and I hit them. It's not my fault, but since I dealt damage I will be slain. He's fine with it ( "Nah it's cool, only a crowbar hit lol.") I can understand a situation where the person damaged is not happy, and he wants him slain. Yes, this isn't CrowbarTTT, but a lot of people do enjoy making silly crowbar art. If someone steps in front of you, and their fine with the small damage, why should you be slain? Yes, I know. It might ruin someones round - Then slay them if they're really that unhappy with 20( Is it 20? ) damage.

Discombobs are fun. Some maps, such as Camel, have certain area you can even disc-jump to. ( Not sure if it works on seriousTTT  ) Honestly, I'm always a bit annoyed on minecraft because I like running off the edge with a discombobulator and jumping. Then someones like "He threw a discombobulator! Kill him." People are rarely ever damaged from this (In my experience. It could vary from yours. ) and when they are damaged. . . It's 1 / 2 hp! If they're FINE with it, why would you slay them for that?

Getting kind of offtopic :p so like I mentioned earlier, I'm just talking about a discombobulator on a flat map. Trains? Rooftops? Metropolis? I can understand those. But what about 67'th way? You aren't going to hit someone and make them go flying off the edge in the tester.

I don't do many crowbar fights. Another server I used to play on, the innocents would kill the survivor of the crowbar fight and that's that. ( It's different, I guess, since we had no "killed an innocent, you may be killed." rule. ) I've never seen crowbar fights cause a rdm fest as people usually are not going to just suddenly start shooting at each other.

No, I don't see how a troll could troll other people with discombobulators. Do you mean knocking them off the edge, or just being a general annoyance and throwing them non stop at you. The only problem I have with this is that ( I could be wrong. ) the discombobulator is BANNED ON THIS SERVER. IF YOU USE IT, PEOPLE PROBABLY WILL KILL YOU. I can stand this, but it's annoying. It's not just a T weapon for pushing people off.

I'm going to be honest here, I have no solution to what Taco Rocket said. I'll think about it, but right now. . . The only solution I have is ( On this server, the motd is a bit different. Read up. ) but obviously that's not a great idea.

I understand a 6th server would be pointless, I was just going over ideas on how to implement it.

Thank you for your comments, I wasn't really expecting everyone to go "YES, GOOD JOB, LET'S IMPLEMENT IT AS A HALLOWEEN FEATURE NOW!" Or anything :) I don't really agree that this would ruin what made Serious TTT so great in the first place ( As I don't see how this would ruin the community. ) but I'm fine with people not liking the idea.
